The Origin of Our Name . . .
In a chess match (game) there is a move (Check-Mate) that places an opponent’s king (poverty) in a position from which it cannot escape (defeating poverty). This move stops the match. Check-Mate Inc. through services to low– and moderate income residents impacts the problems and causes of poverty.
